An actress, a painter, and three musicians from Belgrade pursue their dreams while seeking a new beginning in New York City. The outbreak of the war in 1991 and the bomb raids on Belgrade in the spring of 1999 have changed their lives forever. Despite the vibrant lives and careers they enjoy, memories of the past and painful reflections of their shared homeland, the former Yugoslavia, preoccupy their thoughts.
