Frau Stern (Ahuva Sommerfeld) is 90 years old and still going strong. Her health is excellent, her granddaughter dotes on her, her hairdresser supplies her with recreational drugs, and she is surrounded by friends who are less than a third of her age. Despite all this, the Holocaust survivor has had enough! Frau Stern wants to die, but with each failed attempt to leave this world, life brings even more surprises her way.
The second feature from director Anatol Schuster, FRAU STERN had its world premiere at Achtung Berlin, where it won prizes for Best Feature and Best Actress as well as receiving the German Critics' Award.
