Andrea Rosales studied Communications, focusing in cinema, at Universidad Iberoamericana. She was Programming Director at the Kinoki International Film Festival in 2016 and took part in several university projects as a producer and assistant director. CRUZ, a short she filmed in Oaxaca, is her thesis.
