Harvie Krumpet
Short Films • Animation, Comedy, Short Films
Some are born great, some achieve greatness, some have greatness thrust upon them... and then there are others. HARVEY KRUMPET tells the "inspirational" story of an ordinary man cursed with perpetual bad luck. From being born with Tourette syndrome to getting struck by lightning, Harvie's troubles seem unending. Yet, this man with a book of "fakts" hung around his neck learns countless lessons. He finds love, freedom, nudity, and ultimately the true meaning of life.
Narrated by Oscar-winning actor Geoffrey Rush, HARVIE KRUMPET was the winner of the 2004 Academy Award for Best Animated Short Film.
“A wonderfully irreverent animated film that follows an odd immigrant from birth to the final chapter in his life.” –KC Active
