Marianne is heroine of the day and a young journalist has come to do a feature on her. The interview triggers evasive reactions and misunderstandings, yet a fleeting, tenuous, human connection takes place.
In this commissioned work that is part of a collection of short films on female heroism, Marianne portrays the impossible encounter between a female journalist and a woman who rescued children. Set in the strange and eerie Vosges mountains, this is the story of one woman’s refusal to be considered a heroine, and of the sensationalism of current affairs.
