In post-communist Prague, Amálie struggles to find her voice amidst a generational clash with her mother, who remains haunted by the recent terrors she witnessed.
Megan Mathieson is a senior studying Film and Television with a focus on writing and directing at New York University. She spent two summers interning at WGBH, a branch of PBS, with experience as a research and development intern at Studio Six and a post-production intern at Masterpiece. She has directed a variety of films at NYU, her most recent being a foreign film shot in Prague. She enjoys volunteering at the Fusion Film Festival, an organization that promotes women in film. In addition to being a filmmaker, Megan is also a ballet dancer, pianist, and jazz saxophonist.
