A History of Love
Suffering with sadness, Yuri stumbles upon a secondhand bookshop and comes to know its owner, Tomo, whom she eventually marries. Tomo thinks about his deceased wife everyday but now cannot imagine life without Yuri. Ryota, a childhood friend of Tomo, who recently lost his father, visits Tomo’s bookshop and meets Yuri. They soon fall madly in love.
A melancholy modern day romance, A HISTORY OF LOVE is loosely inspired by the real life story of Goethe and Marianne von Willemer.
