All Eyes Off Me
At a party in Tel Aviv, Danny (Hadar Katz) is looking for Max (Leib Levin) to tell him that she’s pregnant with his child. Wading through a haze of drugs and promiscuity, Danny does not get far in her search. Meanwhile, Max is busy with his new girlfriend, Avishag (Elisheva Weil). He attempts to satisfy her rough sexual fantasies, but Avishag instead turns her attention to another burgeoning relationship with an older man.
Premiering in the Panorama section at the Berlinale, ALL EYES OFF ME, the acclaimed second feature from writer/director Hadas Ben Aroya, is a “seductive triptych” (The New York Times) that won the awards for both Best Israeli Film and Best Actress at the Jerusalem Film Festival.
