During a summer holiday, sheltered boarding school student Bilitis (Patti D'Arbanville) experiences the thrill and heartbreak of first love while becoming captivated by her beautiful guardian, whose crumbling marriage draws her into an emotional triangle that forever changes her understanding of intimacy and desire.

The directorial debut of photographer David Hamilton, BILITIS was co-written by Catherine Breillat, based on the 1894 collection of erotic poems Les Chansons de Bilitis by French author Pierre Louÿs. Presented in a new 4K restoration.
