An unexpected kiss awakens buried memories for Shu-yi (Ariel Lin), a mother struggling to hold her family together despite her own unhappiness. As her rebellious son Han (Jimmy Liu) becomes captivated by the enigmatic Xue-jin (Wu Ke-xi), Shu-yi rekindles her own connection with the same woman, drawing past and present into a blinding rush of desire.

Premiering at the International Film Festival Rotterdam, Taiwanese director Julian Chou presents a “tender tale of complex family dynamics, societal pressures and suppressed desire” (Filmuforia) in her “wonderfully well-honed” (High on Films) sophomore feature.
