Ebon Lundin (Per Oscarsson) lives by himself and longs to break out of the prison that is his everyday life. One day, he decides to resign from his factory job, declaring that he is destined for bigger things. He ventures out into the world in search of companionship, adventure and beauty, but only finds loneliness, hatred and misunderstanding.

The directorial debut of acclaimed Swedish actor Per Oscarsson, EBON LUNDIN has been newly restored by the Swedish Film Institute.
