Drama
A writer summons four actresses to rehearse her play in the country. Over the course of a week, the girls begin to measure each other through the material. As the creative process gains momentum, they share their yearnings and personal stories. Soon a summer story unfolds about princesses, horses, toads, a fire, a party, a river, lots of letters, and even a confused prince.
The directorial debut from acclaimed Spanish actress Itsaso Arana, who also wrote and stars in the film, THE GIRLS ARE ALRIGHT had its world premiere in competition at the Karlovy Vary International Film Festival.
