Vid is seen by his son Dule as the greatest hero in the world, even as he struggles under the looming threat of an iron ore mine that could destroy their home and way of life. While Vid wrestles with the danger closing in, Dule escapes into imagination, embarking on a quiet mission to restore his father’s happiness by infusing their harsh reality with optimism, fairy tales and mysticism.

Premiering in competition at the Tallinn Black Nights Film Festival, the debut feature from Serbian writer/director David Jovanović is a “towering mirror of doom that goes up a mile high in its defiance in the face of destruction.” (Film Threat).
