A sleazy tenant spies on his downstairs neighbors using holes in the attic floorboards, secretly observing their most intimate and bizarre private moments. After witnessing a woman being tortured by her lover during the height of passion, he becomes convinced that he has found his soul mate. Giving in to his murderous impulses, he decides to commit the perfect crime in order to save her.

Based on a short story "The Stalker in the Attic" by the legendary Japanese master of horror Edogawa Ranpo.
