Despite their bourgeois lifestyle, Mariagrazia Ardengo (Valeria Bruni Tedeschi) and her children live beyond their means, relying on Leo (Edoardo Pesce), a greedy businessman and Mariagrazia’s lover. In the meantime, Leo intends on taking advantage of her recklessness in order to seize their only remaining asset, the opulent penthouse apartment in which they live.

Based on the classic novel by renowned author Alberto Moravia, Leonardo Guerra Seràgnoli’s THE TIME OF INDIFFERENCE had its premiere screening at the Moscow International Film Festival where it won the FIPRESCI Prize.
