Diane (Brigitte Roüan) loves her husband Philippe (Patrick Chesnais) dearly. She is a tender and caring mother to her two children and has a fulfilling job working for a publishing house in Paris. Then one day she meets Emilio (Boris Terral), a young and handsome hydraulic engineer twenty years her junior who works for a humanitarian organization. Suddenly, Diane's whole world is turned upside down. A new passion has awakened in her, and she is willing to risk everything for a chance at a new life with him.
Co-written, directed by and starring Brigitte Roüan, AFTER SEX had its world premiere in the Un Certain Regard section at the Cannes Film Festival.
