When the son of Ukrainian immigrant Irina (Vita Smachelyuk) claims to have been brutally attacked, everyone in the Czech border town in which they live stands up in solidarity for her family and condemns the three Roma boys who allegedly committed the crime. But as the actual details of the incident emerge, Irina finds herself in the midst of a life-changing and consequential moral dilemma.
