There is nothing ordinary about Petar, an unconventional man living a humble existence in rural eastern Bulgaria. His days are filled with sun, work, land, sheep and birds. Throughout the various chapters of his life – from ages eight and eighteen to eighty-two – he follows his own poetic path while accepting his destiny without regrets.

Inspired by the life of his grandfather, Kamen Kalev's FEBRUARY was an Cannes official election that went on to win the prize for Best Balkan Film at the Sofia International Film Festival along with three Bulgarian Film Academy Awards.
