Summer vacation. Two teenage sisters, Marina and Luna, travel from Costa Rica to Panama to look for their absent father. While dealing with frictions that arise between them, they find space to explore their desires, new friendships, lovers, and skateboarding, on a journey toward emancipation where they discover the joy of sisterhood and hanging out together.

Premiering at SXSW, the award-winning debut feature from Panamanian-Costa Rican writer/director Kattia G. Zúñiga is an “intimate look of sisterhood told on the backdrop of stunning Panamanian scenery” (In Their Own League) that is both “vibrant [and] confident” as it boasts “individual growth and femininity with a youthful energy” (Film Inquiry).
