In a quiet seaside town, high school students Haino and Reiko are dating but have yet to take their relationship beyond kissing. Reiko sets one condition: Haino must win his next rugby match before they go any further. Determined to prove himself, Haino throws himself into the game, but his focus begins to waver when he finds himself increasingly attracted to Izawa, an alluring substitute teacher.

Winner of the NETPAC Award at the Bucheon International Fantastic Film Festival, Toshiya Kominami's YOUNG & FINE adapts the acclaimed manga by Naoki Yamamoto into an “emotionally resonant and thematically rich piece, blending eroticism, comedy, and the rawness of adolescence into an unusually cohesive and engaging whole” (Asian Movie Pulse).
