A-Hong (Shin-Hong Wang) and San-mei (Ke-Xi Wu), two migrants from Myanmar, live precarious, parallel lives moving between the sprawling metropolis of Bangkok and the remote border town of Dagudi. Desperate to raise enough money needed to rescue his younger sister from human traffickers, A-Hong turns to the drug trade. Meanwhile, San-mei works for a powerful gang boss who promises to secure the ID she needs to start a new life in Taiwan. As their paths edge closer to the criminal underworld, both must decide how far they are willing to go in order to find a way out.
