Fereshteh, a university student and single mother living in Tehran, finds her courage tested when she resorts to desperate measures to hide her illegitimate child from her parents who arrive for an unannounced visit. Her friend Atefeh vows to helps her. Together, they embark on an odyssey through the city for a single night during which time they must carefully weigh who their true allies are.
The acclaimed sophomore feature from Iranian writer/director Ali Asgari, UNTIL TOMORROW is a “tense and resonant drama” (Screen Daily) that had its world premiere in the Panorama section of the Berlinale before going on to win the Golden Palm for Best Film at the Mostra de València and the Grand Prize at the Mons Festival.
