Foreshadowing many themes of his later works, Asghar Farad's first feature DANCING IN THE DUST follows the plight of Nazar, a naive young man who is forced to divorce his wife and pay back her dowry after salacious rumors circulate about her family. On the run from creditors, Nazar hides in the desert where he encounters a taciturn snake hunter and finds an unexpected chance at redemption.
