Drifters

Handwriting analyst Méte (Andrea Bosca) and his 17-year-old soon-to-be half-sister Belinda (Miriam Giovanelli) have little in common except for the fact that her mother is engaged to marry his father. Now, for the week leading up to their parents' wedding, Belinda is crashing at Méte's Rome apartment, which wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for his inappropriate attraction to her.

The sophomore feature from Italian director Matteo Rovere, DRIFTERS was adapted from the popular novel Gli sfiorati by Premio Strega-winning author Sandro Veronesi and had its world premiere at the BFI London Film Festival.
