Théodore, an awkward and clumsy Parisian struggling to come to terms with a bad breakup, is suddenly reinvigorated when he spots a pretty girl jogging. The next day, he stumbles upon an old jazz songbook that contains all but one page for "The Sound of Love,” a tune that supposedly has the power to make anybody who hears it fall in love. Théodore travels to New York to find the rest of its music.
An official selection at the Annonay First Film Festival, Gérome Barry's PARIS RENDEZVOUS is also the feature film debut of transatlantic bandleader and singer Tatiana Eva-Marie, whose life as a jazz musician in New York provided inspiration for the story.
