Vanessa, a young widow, and her stepdaughters Kikki and Vivi, live on the sun-drenched Italian island of San Pietro. After her husband's death, Vanessa invites Roberto, her former lover who is now a professor, to tutor the two girls for their exams. But soon after his arrival, tensions - both psychological and sexual varieties - soon arise.
